I Wonder

When I look at trees like these I can’t help but wonder about all the stories

that each scar has to tell. I wonder which was caused by a young bear fleeing

to safety, or did a monster elk use them to practice his skills before the rut,

maybe some were caused by one of the countless violent storms they must

have gone through in their lifetimes, I just wonder….
