Nature’s Balm

On this visit to Jasper, my wife, son and I all fell ill to a nasty cold just as we arrived in the Park. About all I had the energy for were some leisurely paddles in my canoe at dawn on Patricia and Pyramid Lakes. Mother nature must have felt sorry for me because she gave me beautiful light , loons and calm water every morning that I went out. It was exactly the medicine that a photographer needs and I felt wonderful when canoeing on a morning like this.
