The Gamble

The light at sunrise is so unpredictable and every time I get up in the dark hoping for wonderful light at dawn I am taking a gamble. Sometimes the gamble pays off and I get extraordinary light like this and other times clouds have rolled in obscuring the sunrise completely and the light is ho hum. Even if I lose the gamble for great light I don’t really lose because I almost always enjoy nature at dawn, regardless of the nature of the light.
