Expectations

When I first moved to Southwestern Saskatchewan I was unsure of what to expect, like so many others I had only driven through this country on my

way somewhere else and i definitely did not have any idea of the beauty it had to offer. Well it turns out those darn highway engineers all follow  the nice

and easy routs ( flat, straight and most boring route possible). Now as I photograph more and more types of landscapes I find that the rugged hilly

coulee’s and rolling prairie found in much of this area to be my favourite. I love that I can explore the entire landscape with no need for a trail, allowing

me to move about looking for different compositions without having to worry about them being obscured by those pesky trees. Get off the highways and
