Defender

The Kingbird is an excellent flyer and a fearless defender of it’s nest. They will

assault any hawk that dares to fly into their territory, landing on the back of the

flying predator and pecking it in the back of the head. I remember the first time

I saw one of them doing this and I couldn’t believe my eyes, but then I read up on

them and yes that’s just how they roll.
