Broken Promise

On this morning I awoke to cloudy skies and it didn’t look very promising for great photography, so I just went for a hike and wandered around in a new area. I came across this huge rock all by itself surrounded by a sea of grass and as I was trying to find a good composition the sun came out for just a brief period, but it was all I needed to light up the rock and grass under the dark sky. Right place-right time.
