Worth The Wait

Mother Nature made me wait for this one. I had been out all morning and hadn’t really found anything inspiring to photograph. I stopped at this overlook to have my dinner and the clouds started blowing in, the showers and flurries veilling the distant mountain peaks. The dark contrasting forest below added to the mystery of this shot. It is rare that I take any pictures during the middle of the day (nap time) but you just never know when Mother Nature is going to put on a show.
