Elegant Aspen

I came across this elegant Aspen while hiking the Trans Canada Trail just south of Reesor Lake. The weather was promising ( light rain, bright sky, light fog moving through) at least great weather for forest photography! When I saw this tree proudly displaying its vibrant new spring leaves in the cool rain, I knew I had found what I was looking for. Many elements had to come together to create the mood of this scene- rain, bright sky, fog, new leaves and I was lucky to be there during that combination of events.
