The badlands of Dinosaur Provincial Park are slowly eroding away, bit by bit and in the process they take us back in time, about 75 million years back in time. The erosion process reveals her secrets, fossils from the Cretaceous period, the last great era of the dinosaurs. I can’t help but think how different life would be right now if a 6 mile wide asteroid had not collided with earth 65 million years ago, changing the direction of life.
