Waterton will Bloom Again

This image was made at the beginning of July 2017, everything was lush and green with wonderful wildflowers blooming in the meadows, but by the end of an incredibly dry summer things were drastically different with fire bans throughout the area. Two months after this shot was taken the Kenow wildfire raged through Waterton, burning much of the forest and the meadows in this wonderful park. The trees will regrow, the grass will sprout, the wildflowers will bloom again and I will be back in 2018.
