Just Right

I was exploring fall reflections from my canoe and I noticed this interesting effect when the wind created just a few ripples but not

so many as to eliminate the reflections. I found that by playing with the focus on my lens I could capture these wonderful patterns

and colors in the water. The colour by itself was not enough to make the image, but with the texture added by the ripples it was

transformed into a wonderful abstract.
