Just What I Needed

A beautiful scene like this at dawn, was just what I needed to get my creative juices flowing on the first day of my visit to Vancouver Island’s west coast. The beautifully patterned wet sand begs for a barefoot stroll in the surf, but pictures can be misleading. As I took this picture I was bundled up in a couple jackets, gloves and a toque because the temperature was only a few degrees above freezing but as I have said before, scenes like this warm me from the inside out.
