Fresh Sheets

Sask-Landing is one of my favorite places to go after a fresh snowfall on a good cold winter day. The snow covers everthing in a fresh clean white blanket that takes on the colors of the setting sun and the blue’s of those impossibly blue winter sky’s. I took a lot of pictures on this day and it wasn’t untill the sun was almost down that it turned these little peaks a wonderful pink that contrasted beautifully with the rich blue sky. This is a completely natural sky, no computer magic, just Mother Nature at her best. As I took this picture I wondered if the people in the village down below are aware of the beauty that is just above.
