Gnarly

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and my eye definitely appreciates the beauty in these short, gnarly, crooked

aspen trees. They are also showing their age, reminding me of my late grandfather, a bit wrinkled, not to

straight anymore but proudly showing off his wrinkles and full of wisdom, full of stories to tell if only those

youngsters would sit still long enough to hear them!
