Beyond Words
It is hard to convey the beauty of mornings like this on a two dimensional piece of paper. I will try to help with a few words. It was absolutely calm, the air
just cool enough to keep those little disrupters of the peace (otherwise known as mosquitos) hiding in the grass. THE GRASS – every blade was thick with
drops of dew, sparkling in the sun and filling the air with the sweet smell of spring. THE MEADOW LARKS – their incredible prairie song bursting out of
them, filling the valley with peace, as if they are so full of joy that they would burst if they didn’t let it out. THE MIST – gently blanketing the valley below,
shrouding it in mystery, revealing just enough to make you want to see more. THE SUN – slowly rising above the mist, filling the valley with soft light,
its warmth upon my face. All of this, the sparkling grass, the song of the Meadow Lark, the mist and the rising sun, fill my soul with
a peaceful warmth that is beyond words.
