Spring Blooms on 70 Mile Butte

Most nature photographers have one or two “go to” places where they feel at peace and that always seem to feed their soul and their creativity. The 70 Mile Butte area in Grasslands National Park is one of those places for me, no matter how often I go there I always enjoy the view and more often than not I come away with some great images. A break in the clouds gave me the light I wanted for this picture, backlighting the flowers and making them shine from within.
