The Prairie River elevator was the centre of this little farming community for many years (1958-2003) and when

it finally fell to the bull dozer a large hole was left in the community, sadly many small towns all across the Prairies

had already lost their old wooden elevators. This was one of the last to go.

Change is the one certainty in life.
