Alliance

On the southern edge of 70 Mile Butte there are some exposed sandstone formations that are often sprinkled with

wildflowers on a wet spring, Even on dryer springs this area of sandstone seems to have more wildflowers than

other areas, an alliance  between the two has developed here that has probably lasted for hundreds of years.
