Comfort Zone

It is not very often that a truly wild Whitetail Deer will allow you to be in their comfort zone as this deer did with me.

I just gently eased closer and closer, taking pictures and just watching her, until I was only about 25 yards away. She

knew I was there and I kept expecting her to throw up that big white flag they are famous for and take off, but she never did.

I slowly followed along with her as she browsed along a game trail, always managing to stay from 20 to 40 yards away form her.

After about 30 minutes she just drifted into some thicker bush and I didn’t try to follow.
