Bike…Hike…Bail
The success rate in nature photography is very low, good pictures are fairly easy to
create, but truly excellent photographs are more rare than I would care to admit and
for every morning that I get a “keeper” there are many others that I get only files
destined for the trash bin on my computer. On this particular morning I had biked,
hiked and bailed out a decrepit old rental boat, all before dawn so that I could
be on a quiet little mountain lake for sunrise. All worth it even if I had
not gotten a “keeper”.
