Grandpa’s Favorite
My late grandfather had a little farm house surrounded by trees and he spent many hours in his later years watching birds and squirrels from his kitchen table. On many of my visits with him I would sit at the table with him, both of us with a cup of coffee, watching together to see what would come around today and these guys were one of his favourites. He used to call them his “upside down birds” because of the way they walk down a tree trunk upside down while looking for food. This shot if for you Grandpa Red.
