Morning Swim

Technically this is an impossible shot to create because the loons are at slightly different distances and one

of them would be quite out of focus…if I had used only one shot. A great way to get this shot is to focus on

the lead loon, shot and refocus quickly on the second loon shooting it immediately afterwards. Then take the

two shoots and blend them together so that both loons are sharp. The key is to take both pictures as

quickly as possible so that the background doesn’t change that much.
