No Fear

They are definitely not the most colourful birds around, they don’t have a really long intricate song and yet they are a favourite bird of many Canadians, myself included. They definitely have cuteness in spades but it is more than that, it is mostly their absolute lack of fear of us, sure we feed them but we feed many other birds as well and not many other species will land in your hand, on your head, on your stick ( prop ) as you move it around. This I think is why we love them so much.
