Don’t Flinch

In defending their tiny patch of prairie these determined little grouse will charge across their territory from one rival to another, usually just to sit facing each other in a stare down contest, but every once in awhile one will make a tiny fake jump at the other just to make the other guy flinch. The flincher has to stay ready though because sometimes the fake is real and a sharp beak follows!
