George Lake Icon

This tree and rock face are probably one of the most photographed spots on George Lake, it is just a short paddle from the

camp grounds and it represents the ruggedness that Killarney is so well known for. Beautiful warm morning light, a bit of

mist and it is transformed from the everyday shot to something delightfully magical. Shots like this are one of the reasons

I like photographing from a canoe so much, this spot would be difficult to get to otherwise, not to mention that I would

have had to stand in 15 feet of icy water.
