Long Shot

These Blackbirds would fly slowly over the marsh looking for females to impress,

giving me the opportunity to try and get some in flight shots. They would only fly

slowly among the cattails though, making it very hard to get focus to lock on them

and not one of the leaves. I love the way this shot turned out with the bird in

sharp focus as he is flying through the leaves, it was one of only a handful that

had good focus on the bird.
